This camp takes on the qualities of it's members,VW bus owners. Being a nomadic, tenaciously independent bunch, we are not particularly communal. VW Bus Camp is a really microcosm of the main event, and camp members are expected to follow the same guidelines regarding self-sufficiency.
The camp doesn't officially arrange group meals. Groups of people within the camp sometimes do. And then there are the impromptu group meals, which have been fun. On most evenings there is a social hour where we meet for drink and conversations on all subjects.
There is no official sign-up. Camping area is on a first come first served basis. We tend to get a reasonable large area that in the past has held everyone. But there are no guarantees.
To keep up with camp planning join our Discussion List. As we near the event we will ask for a show of hands just to get a general idea of how many people to expect.
So the bottom line is hop in that VW bus, air or water cooled, and come join us. Socialize as much as you are comfortable with. But be prepared for a great time and to meet some really nice people.
